  After the few negative reviews I was a bit apprehensive about walking to it from Dirksen (not that far I know, but when you walk all day already and Cups is right down the hall...), but with its history I decided I could not pass up the opportunity.
  
  I arrived before noon so the place was not too busy, I was seated and served very quickly. The bartender seemed like an amiable guy. I ordered a turkey and bacon sandwich ("The Filibuster"), and while perhaps a bit drier than I would like, was pretty good. It is a little pricier than most of the food in the Senate buildings, but I definitely had a better than one star experience.
